Four years ago, on a snowy Tuesday night in February, New Orleans garage punk bangers SICK THOUGHTS tore it up for a big old crowd at Santa Fe’s late lamented dive bar Molly’s! ST main man Drew Owen had a blast, though he had to play the role of singing drummer (not often seen in punk circles!) due to a fired band mate. He also declared that he’d be back before long…

And so, one worldwide pandemic and many breakfast burritos later, the time has come! These days, Owen is riding high off 2022’s Heaven Is No Fun, a record which topped many critics’ best of the year lists… and a record he played every instrument on! The touring band is no slouch though- check clips of 2022’s Gonerfest for evidence of their all out assault.

Supporting ST are two relative newcomers to the NM scene: Albuquerque’s PEGGY, lead by Sex Headaches/Microdoser’s Luke Henley, and Santa Fe’s newest band, DETONATION WAVE featuring Ben Brodsky of Street Tombs!

But wait, that’s not all- this show is the kickoff party for our FIVE YEAR ANNIVERSARY as a record shop and party funtime planner here in town. In order to really bring the party vibe, we’ve recruited party maven CHRISTINA SWILLEY to DJ, too!

Truly something for everybody at this one! VENUE UPDATE: The show is now at Tumbleroot Brewery at 2791 Agua Fria Street in Santa Fe!
