In the above video, Gregg Turner of legendary LA punks the Angry Samoans talks about the Velvet Underground & Nico album he bought in 1969 (and some associated stories!)

This copy is a Mono, Promotional record only sent to radio stations. It has the unpeeled Andy Warhol-designed banana sticker on the front, the Eric Emerson “torso” image on the back and yellow labels (see the “East Coast” listing for this record on Discogs). This is the rarest and most sought after Velvet Underground record (!)
